This is Liberty Cap and Nevada Falls viewed from my approach to Little Yosemite Valley.


This is how the cables look on the way back down.


Cathedral Lakes on the morning after a the storm.


We met up with some friends from Red's Meadow and camped on a beautiful (but very cold) granite cliff.

Two hikers had drowned in Evolution Creek earlier in the season, so we took an alternate route.


Muir Hut was built for protection in the event a storm rolls in. Bob and I used it to catch some shade before heading down Muir Pass.


All of my gear is covered in frost and my water bottles are frozen after a chilly night at Lake Marjorie.


Here I am after a long rewarding climb up Forester Pass (13,200').


Here I am at the summit of Mt. Whitney, 14,495 feet above sea level.
